A non recipe recipe! This pepperoni & calabrian chile sheet pan pizza with arugula is so quick and simple. I love a pizza with salad on top!
Ingredients
For the pizza:
Pizza dough
Pizza sauce
Pepperoni
Shredded mozzarella
Goat cheese
Calabrian chile
For the salad:
Arugula
Juice of 1 lemon
Good olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly cracked pepper
Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Pre-bake the dough in the oven for about 5-6 minutes before adding toppings. Add pizza sauce and top with mozzarella and pepperoni.
In a bowl, mix the goat cheese with calabrian chile and combine. Scoop dollops of goat cheese and add to pizza. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until crust is golden brown.
Meanwhile prepare the arugula. In a bowl with arugula, drizzle olive oil and the juice of one lemon. Massage into arugula along with salt and pepper.
Remove pizza from oven and let cool slightly. Top the pizza with arugula salad, cracked pepper and freshly grated parmesan. Enjoy!
